April 2012 and we have changed the practice name to ARCHESTRA from Studio B3 Architects but the range and quality of our services remains unchanged. We are based in Herne Hill in South London, dealing mainly with private residential work. We are two qualified architects; Tony Brohn and Debra Parker. Tony is disabled, a wheelchair user, which tends to confine him to the office leaving Debra to undertake most of the site visits and meetings. In 2007 we were pleased to be recognised by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) as a ‘Chartered Practice’.
The majority of the work undertaken by the practice since we were established in 1998 has been in Lambeth and Southwark, though as you will see as you browse the website there are projects further afield. The practice has undertaken several projects within the Dulwich Estate and we are conversant with the criteria applied to alterations, extensions, etc.
We have a substantial body of completed work and details of some of our projects can be found on this website. We enjoy excellent working relationships with other professionals in the building design and construction world including structural engineers, party wall surveyors, quantity surveyors, building services and energy consultants and we are in regular contact with local authority planning and building control departments – and we have good working knowledge of many of the tradespeople; builders, plumbers, electricians, etc., working in the area.
